This second generation Salalift Winch exceeds all industry requirements, providing superior performance and durability. The 6:1 gear ratio provides an average lifting speed of 12.75 ft./min. With the 25:1 mechanical advantage, only 12 pounds of force is required to lift a 310-pound load. The Salalift II Winch can be used to raise or lower a worker and to rescue or evacuate an injured victim. Freewheel feature allows quick delivery of the line for a worker descending a ladder. The safety hook on the stainless steel cable has a visual overload indicator. Overload clutch provides added safety. Quick-mount bracket and carrying bag included. Weight: 35 lbs. with 60-ft cable. To use the Salalift II Winch with a Sked-Evac Tripod or a DBI/Sala Tripod, you will need to order the mounting bracket that attaches to the tripod.
