CMC Rescue Static-Pro™
Lifeline
UL Classified to NFPA 1983
Constructed of 100%
high-tenacity polyester fiber,
Static-Pro Lifeline is an
extremely low stretch,
kernmantle rescue lifeline
that provides advantages when
the need for super low
elongation offsets the need
for the rope to provide energy
absorption in the system. With
less than 1% stretch at 300
lbs., Static-Pro is an
excellent choice for high
lines, long rappels, and many
mechanical advantage haul
systems. Its low electrical
conductivity has advantages
when working on towers or
charged electrical equipment.
The polyester fiber ropes have
better resistance to acids
than nylon, making Static-Pro
an advantage in acidic
environments. The Static-Pro
Lifelines come in solid colors
with a single stripe to
prevent confusion with CMC
Rescue Lifeline and other
solid color kernmantle ropes.
Please contact customer
service for maximum length
available.
*While the black ropes
intended for tactical
operations are generally a
solid black color, we felt the
unique features of the
Static-Pro warranted the
ability to distinguish it in
the field. The olive drab
stripe is distinguishable on
close inspection, but blends
into the black at normal
viewing distance.
3 sigma is a statistical
method for reporting minimum
breaking strength (MBS) that
provides a 99.87% certainty of
the result. NFPA 1983 and
several other standards have
adopted it. CMC Rescue uses
the 3 sigma method whenever
possible. |
