The CMC Rescue Load Tender is an innovative rescue Tool that evolved in the CMC Rescue School's Tower Rescue Classes. It is a versatile mini-system that can be used to increase the efficiency of several rescue systems. The Load Tender is a pre-rigged 5:1 mechanical advantage pulley system that has a 42 inch (1.1m) maximum lift, more than enough for a rappel pick-off or a raising system knot pass. Fully extended, the Load Tender has a breaking strength of 5,000 lbs (22kN).
