UL Classified to NFPA 1983 - Class III

Designed in cooperation with a large Southern California fire department's aviation unit and USAR teams to meet their requirements for an ergonomic rescue swimmer harness, the ProSeries SRT Harness combines vertical lift capability while being able to work underneath a PFD. Extensive field testing by Swiftwater Rescue Technicians, USAR Specialists, and lifeguards resulted in this unique harness design with the following features:
- Y-shape shoulder straps allow freedom of movement for swimming
- Sternum extension tether positions a carabiner just where it is needed for quick, positive, dynamic hook ups
- Unique wraparound chest strap provides additional support to help keep the harness from interfering with PFD's
- Non-padded leg loops allow greater freedom of movement for kicking but are comfortable during hoists or short-hauls
The harness includes a front waist D-ring for rappels and a rear waist D-Ring for travel restraint inside a helicopter. The harness is manufactured using polyester web to minimize strength loss when wet and to allow for quicker drying. Stainless steel and vinyl coated hardware reduces corrosion from frequent exposure to water.
